Ok so I haven't been blogging very much in the last 2 weeks or so. But today is a special day: inauguration day. Barack Hussein Obama was sworn in today as the 43rd person to hold that position. You will see most other people saying he is the 44th President, which is also correct, if you count Grover Cleveland twice since he served two non-consecutive terms. So he is the 44th President and the 43rd person to be President. Isn't history fun? I'm glad I wasn't at the swearing in because it looked quite cold and uncomfortable. Also, since I was one of the 100,000s of people to apply for a job with the administration and didn't hear back I might be a little touchy. Come on aren't I cool enough? Anyhow, no matter what feelings of loathing I have I did sit at home with my wife and watch the festivities. I believe this was the first time I did that. Now comes the hard part--going to 11 inaugural balls... haha no the act of actually governing. We all know he has his work cut out for him since the skies didn't part and the world didn't change at 12:01 pm ET as he became President officially. I do however think he is up to the job. He better be since I have about 4 cents in my 401k right now. Go Go Obama!
P.S. if anyone in the administration wants to offer me a job just email! Something with tech like web design or NASA. Aren't I an ass
