It's Your Fault... :(

Check out this Moveon.org video where it is YOU who cause Jon McCain to win the election.

Go Joe!

You might think I'm quoting a tag line from the 1980s cartoon G.I. Joe infact I am. But I am also saying go to Joe Biden. He put a local reporter in her place recently during an interview when he said "Are you kidding?" to a question about comparing Barack Obama to Karl Marx. Come on media these "hard hitting" questions are nothing but bullshit and don't hit at any real issues and are "gotcha tactics".

This election is truly different.

People are changing their habits. People are voting against their traditional views. This presidential election is truly unique. The combination of Sarah Palin and 8 years of W. have combined to make Republicans vote Democratic.  My father, who hasn't voted Democratic since LBJ, voted early for Obama. Many think this change can be traced back to Obama. I don't think so. A combination of his mellow demeanor and decent speaking ability made him the perfect canvas for everyone to transpose their hopes onto. Well, that combined with being in the right place at the right time. That said, even I am hopeful for change, but that is inevitable with what has transpired in the last 8 years. Barack has a lot of hopes resting on him--let's hope he wins and lives up to our expectations. Great men aren't born, they're created by the time and circumstances.
