Yeah does anyone in the world really care about their jobs?
I'm asking that because no one ever gives good customer service. I'm not talking about getting free stuff either. Though giving the customer credits and such for trouble are part of good service. I'm talking about calling back and actually getting things done in a timely manner. I'm so sick and tired of having to be "that guy" who calls and calls. Just for an example my scooter has been in the shop for just over 1 month. As far as I can tell it's a minor issue. The first 3 weeks or so I didn't say a peep. I just thought, hey the shop is really really busy it's like a 1 man shop so it takes time. Then finally I call and every time I call I get a different answer. Then I go in and get another answer. Then finally I think it's all sorted out and they say oh we will give you a call in a day or two when the part is in. well no luck, no call. What a crock of shit. So they have till tomorrow then I'm getting my bike no matter what. I have dealt with this mechanic before and he was fast and concise I don't know what is going on now. He is recommended to me by everyone. It isn't just the mechanic.
It's almost every business I deal with no matter if it's a 1 man shop or a large corporation no one ever gets back to you even when it's in their best interest. I mean the quicker you get back to me the quicker our transaction can be completed and you get paid. COME ON PEOPLE GET WITH IT. People need to meet deadlines and do the things they say they will. People rarely do. If everyone just did what they said the world would run much better and there would be a lot less stress. I feel like I spent most of my day just babysitting other people to make sure they do what they promised. I'm not a babysitter and I'm tired of having to act like one. that is all........
P.S. I'm not an apple fanatic but do own 2 macs. One being the laptop I'm typing on. A month or 2 ago it had a dead/stuck pixel area. I brought it to the apple store and waited at the genius bar. Then wow they saw the problem and said you need a new screen. But they didn't have it in stock and told me they'd call when the part came in. 2 days later they did and 2 days after that another call it was all fixed and done. Wow someone who actually did their job. Now they just need to make sure their stuff works to begin with.
